About the Artist

Jill Stead lives in the market town of Beverley, East Yorkshire. She paints in a variety of mediums and has a particular flair for oils.

Her work includes landscapes, portraits, animals and commissions; and has been exhibited in galleries across Yorkshire.

Jill likes to use a subtle blend of soft colours with an almost pastel-like appearance.
